The Modernising the NHS Conference is taking place on Wednesday 21 March. This Conference is supported by the Clinical Leaders Network, NHS Alliance, The Innovation Unit and NTAC, and with contributions from the Care Quality Commission amongst others.
With reforms being put in place in order to drive efficiency in the NHS, delivering better services for less money and improving outcomes for patients is one of the top priorities. With Andrew Lansley stating that, "Modernising the NHS is a necessity, not an option" local and central government bodies are working together in order to ensyure that these changes happen. Co-production in public health hope to help the NHS meet the challenges of increasing demand on services at a time of financial pressure.
