The 17th CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies) conference is designed to provide an up-to-date review of the latest developments and research in the field of ICU medicine, critical care nephrology and CRRT. The conference is structured to promote multidisciplinary interaction among specialists in nephrology, critical care, nursing support personnel and industry involved in the care of the critically ill patient. A combination of invited lectures, lively debates, panel discussions, interactive workshops, oral and poster presentations will be utilized for CME credits. Our workshops provide practical information on "how to" perform the therapy and facilitate interactions among established practitioners and new entrants in the field. Additionally new "hands -on" workshops provide a unique opportunity to gain experience with various machines and techniques for monitoring critically ill patients. As always, we anticipate a lively interactive program that will promote learning.
