The 2010 campaign will focus on Diabetes, the leading cause of Chronic Kidney Disease. World Kidney Day (WKD) is a global health awareness campaign focusing on the importance of our kidneys and reducing the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.

This new postgraduate course will feature an update in all aspects of SLE from the bench to bedside. State of the art lectures will provide nephrologists, rheumatologists and physicians interested in SLE with a review of the new developments in the pathogenesis and treatment of lupus and the role of biologics in the future.
