As you are all aware Stuart Rodger's tenure is coming to an end and the official call for expressions of interest, for the post of Honorary Treasurer has been distributed. Stuart has worked tirelessly throughout his appointment as Honorary Treasurer and we will miss him although he is not hanging up his calculator until September 2010. At the same time, the tenures for both Caroline Savage Academic Vice President and Kevin Harris Clinical Vice President, are also coming to an end. Two key figures within the group of Trustees and both being extremely successful in their individual roles within the Association. Both these posts are elected positions. The formal call for nomination will be Tuesday 3rd November 2009. Please take time to consider your options as Academic or Clinical Vice President.

Please read on for information and important deadlines with regards to the nominations and election dates for these roles.

The new format Advanced Nephrology Course Part 2 - 06 to 08 January 2010 has also been launched. The course will be held at the prestigious Corpus Christi College, Oxford. It is a residential three day course and 'Early Bird' rates currently apply.

In response to membership suggestions to be as 'green' as possible and keep costs to a minimum - we are conducting a survey on the next Renal Registry Report - paper or CD?

And, as our 60th year fast approaches we include details of the first announcement for the 2010 Annual Conference

Please read on for full details on all articles.

Best wishes,
