Welcome to July's eNews.
We are happy to inform you that Fiona Karet will take over as Chair of the Research Committee this coming September when Bruce Hendry demits to take over as Academic Vice-President. Graham Lipkin has also succeeded Martin Raftery as the Clinical Service Committee Chair. Please join us in congratulating both Fiona and Graham.
Three new clinical representatives to the Executive Committee have also been elected unopposed - Dr K A Abraham, Dr Jonathan Barratt and Dr Peter Choi. We welcome them to their new role.
Applications are now open for the AEG Raine Award, Walls Bursaries and the Lockwood Award. Awarded annually these awards are available to all members. We encourage you to review the criteria for each of the awards and consider if you or a fellow member could apply.
Registrations are also now open for September's Advanced Nephrology Course which will take place at the University of York. Following on from the first successful residential course in January, once again it has been decided to make September's course residential.
