Dear Colleagues,

 

Welcome to February's eNews.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the President's Election is now open. We are keen to have a high turn out for the election and I urge all members to submit their votes. You should by now have received a ballot form for the President's Election either by email or by post. We  encourage you to place your vote as it will affect the future direction of the Association. If you have not received a form, please contact the Secretariat (renal@mci-group.com) as soon as possible - the deadline to vote is 12:00 (GMT) Monday 14 March 2011.

May I also remind you that the early bird deadline to register for the joint RA/BRS Conference (taking place between 06 to 09 June 2011 at the ICC, Birmingham) is Wednesday 20 April 2011.  Do register now as there are considerable savings to be made! Online registration closes on Tuesday 31 May 2011.

Dr Robert Mactier will be stepping down as Chair of the Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee in September 2011.

Clinical Practice Guidelines
The final version of the RA Clinical Practice Guideline on Post-operative Care of the Kidney Transplant Recipient is now available on the RA website. Dr Mactier will be stepping down as Chair of the Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee in September 2011 after 4 years in post and after the 5th edition is completed and published in Nephron.
