Training changes 2006/7
Substantial changes in methods of selection and timing of training are intended from August 2007, and recruitment to the old ('Calman') system will not be allowed after December 2006. Changes in plans have so far been frequent and there will no doubt be others. Some useful resources are listed here but check for the latest updates:

Part-time and flexible training
An increasing number of trainees and consultants are working part time. A network is being developed, and both existing part time trainees and anyone seeking flexible training are invited to get in touch with Dr Alison Brown, Alison.brown5@nuth.nhs.uk
