This Advanced Nephrology Course Part 1 is a residential course set over 3 days. Accommodation and all food and beverage at the University of York is included throughout the course.

Course Fees

In order to benefit from the reduced fee for members, you may join at the same time as registering for the course.

Course residential registration fees include; accommodation at the University of York, presentation handouts, breakfast, lunch, tea and coffee and evening meals.
Payment may be by
- UK Cheque or postal order made payable to The Renal Association. Once you have submitted this on-line registration form, an email will be sent to you regarding payment. Please print this email out and attach the cheque for the correct amount to it. The email and cheque must be posted to the Renal Association Secretariat within 10 days; places are held for 10 days without payment. After that time, places will be assumed cancelled until payment is received.
- Credit card. Please note the deduction will be shown on your credit card statement with the reference MCI UK Ltd. You will receive a receipt in your delegate mailing closer to the meeting.
We regret that there can be no refund for any cancellation made from 30 June 2010. Name substitutions can be made.
Study Leave

How to get there
Situated midway between Edinburgh and London, just 20 minutes from the M1/M62 motorway network, York is within comfortable travelling times of most regions in the UK.
By train
York is on the main East Coast Line from London King's Cross to Edinburgh. Fast trains leave from both north and south at frequent intervals. There is also a direct service across the Pennines between York, Leeds and Manchester Airport. The University is two miles from the railway station and you will need to get a bus or taxi onto campus. By car
The easiest route to the University is to take the outer ring road (A64 on the south and east sides of the city, A1237 around the north and west) to the junction with the Hull/Bridlington roads (A1079/A166). Turn off at the exit marked University and follow the signs past Grimston Bar and down Field Lane to University Road. This route avoids the City centre and known traffic blackspots.
Parking at the University is limited however there are pay and display car parks around the campus. For more information about parking please click here.
The nearest Park and Ride to the University is Grimston Bar, off the A1079.
By coach
You can reach York by coach from many destinations around the country. National Express buses stop at the railway station. More details are available from their online coach timetable or National Express enquiries (Tel: +44 (0) 8717 818178)
Taxis
A journey by taxi from the railway station to the University will take approximately 15 minutes. There is a taxi rank just outside the station. The University has a preferred taxi company, Ebor Taxis (Tel: +44 (0) 1904 641441).
