Paediatric Trials: Medicines for Children Research Network (MCRN)

A Clinical Studies Group (CSG) was set up as part of the MCRN infra-structure in early 2008, with the appointment of a Chair (Moin Saleem). The CSG's members were chosen to represent each UK paediatric nephrology centre, with an additional nephrology trainee representative, a patient representative and with Dr William van't Hoff as an ex officio member.

The group stems from the British Association of Paediatric Nephrology (BAPN) research group, which is a larger body, and has the specific remit of co-ordinating, designing and approving multi-centre clinical trials in medicines for paediatric nephrology.
