Membership

The Renal Association seeks to involve its Corporate Members widely in all areas of the Association’s activities of mutual relevance. Contact the Secretary or the Treasurer to discuss this.

Specific Benefits

  • Each Corporate Member will have the opportunity for a 'one to one' meeting between its senior representatives and senior officers of the Renal Association. They allow for a full and frank exchange of views, perspectives and insights into the Renal landscape.
  • Corporate Members are invited to a formal Annual Meeting with the Executive Committee of the Renal Association followed by dinner, this meeting usually being held in the Winter. This is an opportunity for networking with the most senior members of the Renal community.
  • Corporate Members are invited to a short informal meeting during the Annual Meeting of the Renal Association with the President and other senior officers of the Renal Association.
  • The named individual identified by each Corporate Member [company or organisation] has full membership rights in the Renal Association including voting in all postal elections and at the Annual General Meeting.
  • Corporate Members have access to free exhibition space at the Annual Meeting of the Renal Association, the details of available space being pre-determined for each meeting and being equivalent for all Corporate Members. At least 12 months warning of future meetings, their themes and content, is provided on the RA website.
  • Corporate Members are welcome to register their staff at other one day meetings run by the Renal Association on the same terms as are in place for the Annual Meeting. Corporate Members will be advised for each one day meeting of the Renal Association whether exhibition space is available.
  • In addition to the named Corporate Member, registrations are available for up to four other employees of the company at the Annual Meeting.
  • Corporate Members will be kept informed of other opportunities for sponsorship and partnership in Renal Association activities and will usually be given 'first refusal' on these before they are made available to companies who are not Corporate Members. Appropriate recognition of the Corporate Members contribution in published material will be agreed by mutual consent. At present these opportunities include
  • Sponsorship of individual sessions and speakers at the Annual Meeting. The Renal Association will usually make available to Corporate Members an outline programme at least 9 months before the meeting to assist planning.
  • Sponsorship of Renal Association E-learning for trainees and consultants being developed in partnership with Doctors.Net. Further details of this opportunity will be circulated in the near future.
